Amari Cooper on slow start: 'The ball will find me'

After watching film, Raiders coach Jack Del Rio said this week that Cooper was open five times against the Ravens.

The Chargers (1-4) travel north to take on the Oakland Raiders (2-3) on Sunday, October 15.

"We're so uptight", he said. Otherwise, the Raiders will have dropped four games in a row.

With one group, we're counting the touchdowns. "If there's a desperation meter, we want it pretty bad". "I like to play well so, hopefully, in this next game, I'll have a few catches and kind of get back on [track]..."

"We have to make good decisions, sound decisions, for the quarterback, for all of our players, or for Derek in this particular case", Del Rio said. After all, only one team in NFL history has started 0-4 and still made the playoffs. "I think we'll be alright".

"It means a lot", receiver Amari Cooper said.

The Chargers hope they can keep them there with an offense that has weapons.

Bosa and Ingram comprise the NFL's top pass rush tandem for the Los Angeles Chargers, combining for a league-high 12 sacks.

CBS Sports will televise the game, which will air in Los Angeles and Orange County on KCBS-TV Channel 2. That's nowehere near normal for a No. 4 draft pick coming off back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons.

Even though this AFC West matchup is between two teams with losing records, the Chargers and Raiders will give us all an exciting game to watch this weekend.

"They're going to be able to run play action and other sorts of things when we can't stop the run game".

It's Thursday and this is the Black Hole Roll Call. The week before, when Derek Carr was injured at the Denver Broncos, Cooper had just two catches.

Both teams have taken their lumps of late. "When the ball comes your way, you have to get to the ball". "When our rush is getting there, it definitely makes it easier for the secondary to get our hands on balls". "The defense itself, schematically, is not the same that Pags ran here and was a part of here for, shoot, 15 years".
