As far as specifications go, the Honor 7X flaunts a 5.93-inch full HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and a screen resolution of 1080×2160 pixels. On the front panel, the Honor 7X comes with an 8-megapixel camera as a selfie shooter.

At the CES 2018, Honor said that the View 10 and Honor 7X would hit the US market very soon with impressive price tags. It will presumably cost under $500.

Both devices are coming to the US this year, with the Honor 7X coming first and the View10 coming at a later date.

The company has confirmed that all the variants of the Honor 7X will be updated with face unlock feature in the forthcoming weeks. The limited edition red color Honor 7X will be available in the US, UK, France, Italy, Spain, Germany and Indis starting February 14. "It won't be around for long".

The facial recognition on the Honor 7X is expected to work in the same manner as the Face Unlock feature on the OnePlus phones. Facial unlock can be used to unlock your phone instantly by scanning a recognized user's face.

Honor made the announcement at this year's International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, according to CNet.

Meanwhile, the Huawei-owned company launched a new limited edition red color variant of the Honor 7X in addition to the availability of the Honor View 10 smartphone.
