Samsung to reveal new smartphone in February

Having said that, the Galaxy A8 Plus (2018) is a mid-range phone, and it is made out of metal and glass. It will be powered by Qualcomm's latest and greatest Snapdragon 845 chipset and is likely to be the first smartphone to offer 512GB of internal storage.

The company, which claims to have 2.2 million users of its desktop platform, has also unveiled a mobile app and expects to add 10-15 million new users in the next six months. It supports gigabit LTE and has a new GPU with 20 percent more power than the last-gen chip. Until now. only the flagship models from the company came with this aspect ratio.

It was previously rumored that the Galaxy S9 would make a brief appearance at CES but that hasn't happened yet. Entertainment has transitioned to the smartphone and the 6-inch FHD Super AMOLED display (1080 x 2220 pixels / 411 PPI) might be just what you need for watch TV on the go. Moving to the front, top and bottom chin is slightly thinner than the Galaxy S8 but there no big changes up front.

Last year, Samsung's mobile boss admitted he was hoping for a 2018 release for the folding phone. So we know that there is not any other trade show in February except MWC 2018.

There's a power/lock key on the right, and a volume rocker on the left, both of which fall nicely under the thumb and finger.

DJ Koh added that the company could launch its foldable phone sometime next year. Even if Samsung is late to the AI race, it is capable of "offering the best experience for consumers". According to a recent leak, the Samsung Galaxy S9 is also rumoured to feature a single rear camera.

The Galaxy S9 has been rumored to be available in the 4GB RAM/64GB storage and 4GB RAM / 128GB storage flavors. However, nothing is confirmed yet about the foldable phone's specs and features, so take this with a pinch of salt.
